Booking tours is an exhausting, daunting and surprising experience. I'm in the midst of booking dates for an Ontario/Quebec tour in June, and have managed to book two so far. They're both in Montreal. Kind of appropriate, since they're at the beginning and the end of the tour. I'll be playing at Grumpy's "chick pick'n" Mondays on June 7th, and Le Cagibi on the 17th with Ben Spencer's Funeral and perhaps a few more people.
This is when my connections come in handy. I've set up so many shows for so many people . . . I'm excited to have the favors returned.
And excited to get on the road in my new ('98) Subaru! It is now 2/5ths mine!
